Quality Inn & Suites Plano East - Richardson
Close to UT Dallas with room service on call
Plano, Plano
About this stay
Quality Inn & Suites positions itself around the University of Texas at Dallas, 5.5 miles out, and Collin Creek Mall's shops and restaurants, a five-minute drive away, making it a practical pick for campus visits or family shopping trips rather than a Legacy West business stay across town on the other side of the highway. Rooms come with a coffee machine, cable TV and seating area, and the 24-hour front desk pairs with room service for a genuinely full-service feel at a mid-range price point rarely matched nearby. Guest reviews run consistently favorable, with 678 reviews averaging an 8.1 rating overall (free on-site parking sits right at the entrance, no separate lot to walk to).

Our take
At roughly 30 minutes from DFW Airport and 5.5 miles from UT Dallas, this suits campus visitors and shoppers headed to Collin Creek Mall over Legacy West business travelers. The room service option is a genuine differentiator at this price point. Families wanting a full kitchen for a longer relocation stay should look toward the extended-stay suite brands instead, since rooms here stay standard.
- Book here specifically for UT Dallas visits, few properties in Plano sit this close to the campus at 5.5 miles.
- Use room service on a late arrival rather than searching for a restaurant still open near the highway.
- Confirm the pet weight limit directly, the property lists pets allowed but does not detail restrictions in its description.

- Room service available on request
- Highly rated by 678 reviewers
- Five minutes to Collin Creek Mall
Why guests love itRoom service is the detail I would point out to families at the Quality Inn & Suites Plano East - Richardson, useful when nearby places have closed after a late arrival. Non-smoking rooms have cable TV, a coffee machine and a seating area, and parking is free. The University of Texas at Dallas is 5.5 miles away and Collin Creek Mall five minutes by car. Rooms have no kitchen, so I would plan on eating out for most meals.
