Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Dallas Plano West
Indoor pool and immaculate rooms near downtown
Plano, Plano
About this stay
This Fairfield Inn stands out among the pool-equipped properties in Plano for its indoor pool, a genuine advantage during a Texas winter or a rainy stretch when the outdoor-only pools nearby lose their appeal for weeks at a time. Rooms come with air-conditioning, complimentary toiletries and a work desk, standard for the brand but consistently rated for room cleanliness by guests staying multiple nights in a row. The 24-hour front desk and business area suit a work trip, and the 9 km distance to Historic Downtown Plano makes a weekend antique-shopping detour realistic without a long drive out (free WiFi covers the whole property, including the fitness centre and lobby).
- Indoor swimming pool
- Fitness centre
- Business area
- Near ice-skating rink
Our take
At 26 km from Dallas Love Field and 9 km from Historic Downtown Plano, this suits travelers who want a guaranteed year-round swim without booking the pricier Renaissance. The indoor pool is the clear differentiator here. Families wanting a full kitchen for a longer relocation stay should look toward the Residence Inn or TownePlace Suites brands instead, since Fairfield rooms stay basic.
- Book here specifically for the indoor pool if visiting outside summer, few nearby properties guarantee year-round swim access.
- Ask for a room away from the pool area if the noise of an indoor pool matters for your stay.
- Confirm breakfast hours before an early departure, guests consistently rate it highly alongside the room cleanliness.
