The hotel provides a contemporary setting for both business and leisure travelers, with well-appointed rooms that include separate living areas and flat-screen TVs. Our take
My view: the JW Marriott earns its place for the Galleria location, a large pool area and two restaurants in the building. The fitness center is well equipped, and free WiFi is included. The 8.2 across 118 reviews is good rather than outstanding, so expect a polished but not flawless stay. It suits shoppers and business travelers more than families wanting a kitchen.
- Take advantage of the hotel's close proximity to The Galleria for shopping and dining.
- Explore the large outdoor pool area for relaxation, especially during warmer Houston days.
- Consider dining at one of the two on-site restaurants for convenience after a busy day.

Why guests love itI would pick the JW Marriott for a Houston stay built around shopping at The Galleria. It is a block from the shopping area, and guests rate it 8.2 across 118 reviews. A large outdoor pool area, two restaurants and a fitness center with cardio equipment and free weights are on site, and free WiFi is included. It is more of an upscale base than a family-resort one.
