Our take
I would book Tru by Hilton Norfolk Airport for its airport convenience rather than as a beach base. Norfolk International Airport is close, family rooms are available, parking is free on site and pets are accepted. A fitness room and a 24-hour front desk round out the essentials. It is a simple 3-star stay, but an 8.8 from 507 reviews shows it does the basics well.
- Utilize the free WiFi for planning your local excursions or catching up on work.
- Take advantage of the fitness room to maintain your routine while on the road.
- If traveling with pets, confirm the specific pet policy and any associated fees directly with the hotel upon booking.
