Our take
My take: this Candlewood Suites is a practical extended-stay hotel with some welcome extras, a year-round pool and hot tub, barbecue areas and laundry services. The fully equipped kitchens and the pet policy are the real reasons to book. The 8.8 rests on 87 reviews, so I treat it as encouraging. It is near Tucson International Airport, so it suits drivers and arrivals more than downtown wanderers.
- Make use of the fully equipped kitchen in your room to save on dining expenses during your stay.
- Take advantage of the year-round outdoor pool and hot tub for relaxation after a day of activities.
- If you're traveling with a pet, confirm the pet policy and any associated fees when booking your room.
