Our take
My take: this AC Hotel is a sleek, close-to-the-gates choice, and a 9.0 across 227 reviews supports it. At 1 km from the airport it takes the stress out of flight days, the outdoor pool and fitness center add some downtime, and the European-style restaurant is a change from standard hotel fare. Pets are welcome. It is an airport base, not a Tampa sightseeing one.
- If you're traveling with a pet, confirm the hotel's specific pet policy and any associated fees beforehand.
- Take advantage of the free bicycles to explore the local area around the airport.
- Enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant for European cuisine without having to leave the hotel.
