The indoor pool covers year-round use regardless of St. Louis's swing between humid summers and cold winters, and pet-friendly rooms make it workable for a family road-tripping with a dog. Missouri Botanical Garden is a seven-minute taxi away, an easy half-day trip, and Forest Park sits a two-minute walk from the closest transit stop. Parking is a paid add-on typical of the district, but the twenty-minute taxi ride to Lambert International, or twenty-eight by public transport, is shorter than most downtown properties manage (paid parking, one of the faster airport transit links in the city).
