Victorian Inn sits 2 minutes' walk from Victorian Square in Sparks, with Sparks Memorial Park under 5 minutes' walk in the other direction, a genuinely central spot in the Sparks side of the metro. Each air-conditioned room comes uniquely furnished with cable TV, a coffee machine and an en suite bathroom, plus a microwave and a petite refrigerator, a step up from a purely generic chain layout. Laundry facilities and maid service cover a longer stay, and free on-site parking removes a daily fee some downtown competitors still charge. Family rooms are available for a larger group, and the designated smoking area keeps that activity away from the main entrance. Several casinos sit within walking distance, and Reno-Tahoe International Airport is an 8-minute drive out (the 2-minute walk to Victorian Square puts local shops and restaurants closer than at most downtown Reno hotels).
