Our take
Concert-goers have the shortest walk in town: Orchestra Hall is about 200 metres from the door, and the Nicollet Mall restaurants are just as close. Inside, the Ivy offers bathrobes, a hot tub, a steam room and a calm bar, all in keeping with its Luxury Collection label, and dogs are accepted. U.S. Bank Stadium is a 17-minute walk. Travellers wanting a quiet, out-of-town retreat will find the downtown setting busy on event nights.

- Walk to nearby attractions like the Minnesota Orchestra and U.S. Bank Stadium to experience downtown Minneapolis.
Why we love it
- Central downtown Minneapolis location
- Pet-friendly accommodations
- Access to a hot tub and steam room
- On-site restaurant and bar
Why guests love itHotel Ivy is more of a grown-up base than a playground, but families with older children will appreciate its central position. Orchestra Hall, home of the Minnesota Orchestra, is about 200 metres away, and U.S. Bank Stadium is roughly a 17-minute walk for a Vikings game. The hot tub and steam room suit parents after a long day, bathrobes come as standard, and pets are welcome. A 9.1 score from 57 guests is a small but encouraging sample.
