Our take
Hampton Inn Miami-Coconut Grove/Coral Gables is a dependable middle option: pool, hot tub, fitness center and a free breakfast, with an 8.1 score from more than 1,150 reviews. The location favors calm over nightlife, between two leafy neighborhoods rather than on the sand. I would book it for a family trip with a car, not for a beach-first holiday.
- Take advantage of the complimentary breakfast to start your day energized before heading out.
- Plan a day trip to Miami Beach for its excitement and recreational activities, easily accessible from the hotel.
- Unwind in the hot tub after a day of exploring the historic sites and beaches nearby.

- Family-friendly atmosphere and amenities
Why guests love itFree breakfast, an outdoor pool and a hot tub are the three things I would weigh first for a family here, and this Hampton Inn has all of them. Its Coconut Grove setting, next to Coral Gables, is quieter than Miami Beach, which helps when children need an early night. Beaches, museums and restaurants are within easy reach by car. An 8.1 score across more than 1,150 reviews suggests a consistent, well-run stay rather than a showpiece.
