Our take
The Azure Hotel keeps things simple: a two-star property with an outdoor pool, a hot tub, free WiFi and plain rooms with a desk and flat-screen TV, rated 8.5 by nearly a thousand guests. Its position near the Mesa Arts Center is a plus. My advice: book it for a good-value base with a pool, and look at higher-category hotels if you want a restaurant or more facilities on site.

Why guests love itThe Azure Hotel is a simple two-star option in Mesa that guests rate 8.5 out of 10 across nearly 1,000 reviews. The outdoor pool and hot tub are the main draws for children after a hot Arizona day, and rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a desk, free WiFi and a private bathroom. The Mesa Arts Center is nearby for a show or a class. I would choose it for a budget family stay where a pool matters more than extras.
