Our take
I would book Extended Stay America Select Suites in Mesa West for its practical side, not for comfort or extras. Each air-conditioned suite has a private bathroom and a kitchen with a refrigerator, a microwave and a stovetop, and the property adds free WiFi, a picnic area, barbecue facilities and free private parking. Pets are welcome. The 7.0 rating over 437 reviews is middling, so I would keep it for longer stays where a kitchen matters more than service.
- Utilize the fully equipped kitchen to save on dining expenses during your stay.
- Take advantage of the picnic area and barbecue facilities for outdoor meals.
- If traveling with pets, confirm the pet policy and any associated fees when booking.
