Stellar Suites
Kitchenette suites under 1 km from Louisville Slugger Field
Louisville, Louisville
About this stay
This puts Louisville Slugger Field under a kilometre away and the KFC Yum! Center 1.7 km out, a genuinely central downtown position for a suite-style stay with kitchenettes rather than a standard hotel room. The Kentucky International Convention Center sits 2 km further, and Louisville Slugger Museum Factory, Old Louisville and Louisville Zoo are all within a manageable drive at 2.6 to 7 km. Full-day security and luggage storage add a level of practical convenience, and the on-site restaurant covers a straightforward meal without a walk into the busier Whiskey Row blocks. Louisville International Airport sits 10 km out, and streaming services in the rooms suit a longer stay settled in for the evening.
- Downtown kitchenettes
- Near ballpark
- Family rooms
- Free WiFi
Our take
This suits a traveler wanting a central downtown address with a kitchenette, close to the ballpark and convention center, without the higher price point of the city's boutique or historic hotels. A couple chasing a spa or steakhouse-first evening should look toward Galt House or Omni instead, since this property leans practical and suite-style.
- Walk to Louisville Slugger Field rather than driving those few downtown blocks
- Use the kitchenette for at least one meal to offset the downtown location's dining costs
- Store bulky luggage with the full-day security if doing a same-day sightseeing loop
Why we love it
- Under 1 km from Louisville Slugger Field
- Kitchenettes in every room
- Full-day security and luggage storage
- Central downtown position
Why guests love itEditorially, the combination of a kitchenette and a genuinely central downtown position under a kilometre from Slugger Field is hard to match at this price point, and the full-day security is a small but real convenience for a family doing a busy sightseeing day rather than settling into the room for the evening ahead, with streaming services for a quieter night in.
