Our take
I would pick Tru by Hilton Kansas City Airport for a stay tied to a flight, when the airport shuttle and a simple room matter. The refrigerator and the work desk in each room, the daily continental buffet breakfast with gluten-free options and the games room and picnic area add more than a basic airport hotel usually does. An 8.9 from 186 reviews is a very good score for a 3-star property.
- Take advantage of the complimentary shuttle service for easy airport transfers.
- Explore the games room for some evening entertainment after a day of travel.
- Enjoy the continental buffet breakfast, especially the warm dishes and gluten-free options.
