Our take
My view: the AC Hotel is a tidy, central choice for event trips and business stays. Rooms with a proper desk, a fitness center and an on-site restaurant and bar cover the essentials, and the short distance to the T-Mobile Center and the Convention Center saves time. Pets are welcome. The 8.9 across 131 reviews is encouraging. There is no pool listed, so I would look elsewhere for a family leisure stay.
- If you're attending an event, check the walking distance to the T-Mobile Center or Convention Center beforehand.
- Take advantage of the breakfast options; they offer a good start to your day with variety.
- Explore the historic Power and Light Building nearby for a glimpse into Kansas City's past.
