Hilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Convention Center
Steps from Embassy Theatre with a free airport shuttle
Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne
About this stay
This Hilton sits inside the convention district, with Embassy Theatre close enough to reach on foot and Fort Wayne Museum of Art and Parkview Field both within easy walking range. The free airport shuttle removes the need for a rental car on a trip that stays downtown, useful given Fort Wayne Airport is 12 km out. Rooms lean toward business travel with a work desk and sofa bed, but the on-site restaurant, bar and coffee shop give the evening somewhere to go without leaving the building. A parking garage handles the car for anyone driving in, and pets are allowed for road-trippers bringing a dog along (worth confirming any fee at check-in).
- Free airport shuttle
- Pet-friendly
- On-site dining
- Parking garage
Our take
This works best for a downtown, walk-to-everything stay near the convention center and Embassy Theatre, with the free shuttle solving the airport-transfer question. The parking garage and pet allowance make it workable for drivers too. Anyone chasing a quiet residential feel or a pool should look toward the southwest suites instead, since this leans business-district by design.
- Reserve the airport shuttle ahead of an early flight, it runs on a schedule rather than on demand.
- Walk to Embassy Theatre for an evening show, it is close enough to skip parking twice.
- Ask for a garage spot near the elevator if hauling luggage for a multi-stop trip.

Why guests love itHilton Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Convention Center is a downtown base where much of the city can be reached on foot: the Embassy Theatre is steps away, and Parkview Field, home of the TinCaps baseball team, and the art museum are within walking distance. A free airport shuttle, an on-site restaurant and bar, and a parking garage keep logistics simple. Pets are welcome. The 7.7 score from 227 reviews is fair for a convention hotel.
