Our take
I would book Courtyard by Marriott Detroit Downtown for a city stay near the Riverwalk or an evening at Little Caesars Arena. The large indoor pool and the hot tub suit children and tired parents, the river views lift the rooms, and the business center helps on work trips. This is the busy heart of the city, so a quiet residential feel is not the point. An 8.6 from 218 reviews is a good result.
- Take advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub for a relaxing break during your stay.
- Walk to the Detroit Riverwalk, just a few minutes away, for scenic views and outdoor activity.
- Consider dining at the on-site Courtyard Café & Bar for convenient meals and snacks.
