Our take
Aloft Corpus Christi offers a year-round outdoor pool, a fitness center, an on-site restaurant and a pet-friendly policy, with Mustang Island State Park about 22 km away and the airport 13 km off. The 7.8 score from 196 reviews is fair rather than outstanding. I would book it as a practical stop with a dog on a Texas coast trip, not as a beach address.
- Bring your pet along, as this hotel is explicitly pet-friendly
- Take advantage of the year-round outdoor pool for a swim regardless of the season
- Consider renting a car to explore Mustang Island State Park and other local attractions
Why we love it
- The year-round outdoor pool
- Pet-friendly policy for travelers with companions
- On-site restaurant for convenient dining
- Free WiFi in all rooms
Why guests love itThe outdoor pool is open year-round, so children can swim even outside the summer months, and the on-site restaurant saves a drive at dinnertime. Mustang Island State Park, with its Gulf beaches, is about 22 km away for a beach day. Rooms are air-conditioned with free WiFi, and pets are welcome. The airport is 13 km off. A 7.8 score from 196 reviews is fair rather than outstanding, so expectations should stay practical.
