Our take
My view: the closeness to the Air Force Academy is the clearest reason to choose this Hampton Inn & Suites on the north side of Colorado Springs, and an 8.6 from 92 reviews is a sound result. The saltwater pool is a gentler option for children, the garden gives a quiet corner, and the rooms are spacious. Pets are accepted. It is a comfortable three-star base for exploring the area, not a mountain lodge.
- Take advantage of the saltwater pool for a refreshing swim after a day of activities.
- If you're traveling with children, explore the indoor play area to keep them entertained.
- Utilize the free on-site parking and the hotel's convenient location for easy access to local sights.
