Our take
I would choose Fairfield Inn & Suites Charlotte Airport for a short stay around a flight at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. A shuttle runs for guests, rooms have a refrigerator and a coffee machine, and the seasonal outdoor pool and fitness center fill the gap between check-in and dinner. The Billy Graham Library is among the sights within easy reach by car. An 8.9 from 301 reviews backs it up, but it is not a base for uptown nightlife.
- Utilize the shuttle service for stress-free transfers to and from Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
- Take advantage of the seasonal outdoor pool to relax after a day of travel or exploration.
- If you have work to do, the in-room work desk and business area provide a quiet space for productivity.
