Our take
A three-star AC Hotel in Ballantyne, rated 9.1 out of 10 across more than 550 reviews. I would choose it for a business trip or a calm couple's stay, with a spa and wellness facility, a modern restaurant and an outdoor terrace with a fireplace. It sits away from Uptown Charlotte, so a car helps, and families wanting a pool should look elsewhere.
