Our take

The Verb Hotel stands out for two facts: Fenway Park is about 200 meters away and there is an outdoor pool, an uncommon combination in Boston. Rooms are air-conditioned with cable TV, and the 9.3 score from 2,730 reviews is a strong, well-established signal. I would book it for a Red Sox weekend or a summer city break where a pool matters to the children.

  • Take advantage of the hotel's proximity to Fenway Park for a game or tour.
  • Explore the numerous dining options available within a short walk from the hotel.
  • Enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the outdoor pool, a unique urban amenity.

Why we love it

  • Proximity to Fenway Park and dining
  • Family-friendly amenities and spa facilities
Why guests love it

Fenway Park is about 200 meters away, so a Red Sox game with children needs no car and no long walk back afterwards. An outdoor pool is unusual for a city hotel, and here it gives kids a reward after a day of sightseeing. Rooms have air conditioning and cable TV, useful on humid summer evenings. With 2,730 reviews averaging 9.3, the score is both high and well established.
